I started using Chrome way before it was the default browser on everyone’s machines. It was the lightest and fastest browser I had seen. Quite unsurprising I suppose, considering that its competitors were a clunky safari, a buggy firefox and a hapless IE. But yes, I guess with Google’s effort to turn it into an all-achieving application, it is no longer the best web browser around. It is clogged, resource heavy, and the lesser we talk about privacy the better. So much so that I even considered switching back to IE (Never thought I’d have to say that out loud).
But Vivaldi has got me excited again. Its a nifty browser that looks and feels great. The keyboard shortcuts, once you get used to them are an absolute breeze. It really puts the fun back in web browsing. Oh, and all my colleagues look over my shoulder at work, and they exclaim, “Which browser is that?!”.

“Oh, this is a very secret browser – built for friends.” turn around with a friendly smile “Do you want to try it too?”
